Board Approved Quarterly Rates
Customers that do not subscribe to a fixed-price fixed-term contract receive their gas from Centra Gas Manitoba Inc., a subsidiary of Manitoba Hydro. Primary Gas rates are reviewed quarterly and approved by the Public Utilities Board.
Fixed-Price Fixed-Term Contracts
Fixed-price fixed-term contracts for the residential customer are currently offered from Centra Gas Manitoba Inc. and Just Energy (formerly Energy Savings Manitoba). Direct Energy is currently not enrolling new residential customers but continues to serve existing customers.
Most registered gas marketers, including Centra Gas, will also offer fixed-price fixed-term contracts to larger general service customers. Customers should call their marketers directly for further information on gas costs.
